| Faces of Grace
Everywhere I turn I
feel a face that looks at me with pain and hope
A Face that needs to break beyond it's bounds and embrace all that is.
This face is part of
me.
Part of the multitudes of faces drawn together to form a heart
that
Beats
as one in a world that's divided.
If but one face can heal, can the
Multitudes heal.
Or because of the minuteness of a single being,
Of a single smile,
Will that face get lost in a sea of turmoil only to submerge
itself
Again in despondency?
I see a light
Shining thru the throngs directed at a singular point.
Then branching out, gaining momentum as it touches upon others
On its' journey to One.
It is on this light that I base my hopes, my beliefs, my dreams
For our future.
This light splinters
off into glints of Love
That penetrate the eyes of those faces
Brave enough to gaze openly upon it.
It will illuminate and nurture them as they become One
With Love
And all the other
Faces of Grace.
